Each pattern is made in a limited run, so the first collection is a short list instead of a catalog.

The idea

Northloom started as a question: why do so many throws look good in photos and feel thin on the sofa? The first collection answers it with heavier yarns, tighter weaves and plain labels.

We work with small mills and weaving studios, so every pattern is a short run. When a run is finished, the pattern is retired instead of being rushed back into production.

What sizes are planned?

Most throws are about 50 x 70 inches, with a smaller lap size. Exact measurements will be on each product page.

Will there be wool-free options?

Yes. The cotton and linen throws are wool-free, and the fiber content is shown clearly.
